Spring 2008 Genealogy Class - Researching in a Straight Line - - - Backwards

Jacksonville Genealogical Society, Inc. (JGS) will be holding a five-session Genealogy Class, featuring research in the U.S. It will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Webb-Wesconnett Branch Library, 6887 103rd Street, Jacksonville, FL on the following dates:

Saturdays: 3, 10, 24, 31 May and 7 Jun 2008

There is no charge for attending this class. A genealogy manual will be available; a donation of $20.00 is requested, if you would like one.

This class is for the beginner and the experienced researcher looking for a refresher course. Subjects include: Back to Basics; Research Documentation; Sources-What are they?; Dates, Places & Relationships; Use of Vital, Court, Church and Military Records; Record Keeping; and much more. Certificates of Completion will be given to those persons who attend at least four of the five class dates.

Free parking is available at the Library.
